Involvement in Prometheus

I didn't have anything better to do with my time but when Nick asked me to join this team, I wasn't so sure about it at first. Then I found out Gren and Mono where both part of it and I figured it would be nice to learn from those two.

So here I am taking orders from Nick (what a stupid fool I am) [Ed Note: Best thing that ever happened to him]. When this project started and stopped a few times, I began to wonder if it was even going to happen; Gren started out as being a .NET hater and Mono is a .NET lover. Neither of them really liked the idea of learning new things. I'm glad at least one of them stepped down from there stands and is at least trying (thanks Gren, keep on learning).

The main reason I was brought into this project was because of my work with decompiling and compiling maps. This is obviously a huge part of Prometheus and without it Prometheus would just be another byte swapping program that created mods, not whole new maps. I figured out how most of the tag formats work across all the version of Halo so that helped greatly with de/compilation.

You May Remember Me From ...

Some of you may know me from around the HaloMods IRC channel but many others know my work indirectly. I have helped out with a handful of maps and mods throughout my time in the Halo modding scene. I played a major role in all PC to Xbox conversions that have been done and nobody else can get the hang of it, yet. I also helped out a bit with HHT and a few other projects.
