I guess you could say Prometheus is my baby. Ever since Halo modding first started I always wanted to have a robust editor that could edit the game world in real-time, make creating new content easier, and simplify the modding process. I first started thinking of and designing Prometheus way back in late 2003 and its development has been off and on since that time.
I pulled Grenadiac, MonoxideC, PfhorSlayer (no longer with us), and tjc2k4 (no longer with us) into the concept of this massive editor project that would be the application to end all applications when it came to creating and editing Halo content. They were all into the idea, but Grenadiac was already doing SparkEdit, MonoxideC was working on HMT, and PfhorSlayer was busy with Aquaduct and of course they wanted to mature their own projects before starting something totally new and massive.
Anyway, time went on and we kicked around ideas and code for a long while until work finally started getting done. As we went people were added into the project to help out and everything we have now is a result of all the current active members of HaloDev.
I could say that I designed Prometheus from the ground up and I could say that I did all these amazing things by myself, but I would be a flat out liar. Everyone ever involved with HaloDev, especially the current members, helped design and shape Prometheus into what it is today and without them, Prometheus would just be a bunch of .doc files on my desktop.
Absolutely nowhere! Well, if you remember CEAds and MacDev (both of which are no longer around), then you remember my websites. I'm going to stick with "absolutely nowhere". Technically this is my 3rd true public website I've done, but that's nothing special since they've all used CMS applications to drive them. From an application point of view, I have not done any work under this name that I have released publically, Prometheus will be my first in that realm.
However, some of you may know me from IRC, Halomods / Gearbox forums, and a few other places. Some other names I have used in the past were NickHBO and Nick03, to name just two.
